Clemmie trained at Charles H Cecil Studios in Florence learning traditional painting and drawing from life using the sight size method, and sculpture.  Italy will always hold a strong bond with her, taken by the art and architecture but also the people, wine and delicious food! 

 

She spent six months in India prior to her first exhibition in 2005.

 

Once settled back to the UK she added painting and drawing animals to her work, inspired by her love of animals.  She has had several exhibitions in London and Dublin inspired by her travels in India, Africa, Myanmar and Europe.  When travelling wasn't possible she looked closer to home including domestic and farm animals, as well as her two boys (children) and two girls (dogs).
